Product Terms & Disclaimers

By purchasing, accessing, or using any iGrowCalm product, service, website, educational material, consultation, or online community feature, you agree to these Terms of Use and Disclaimers. If you do not agree, please do not use our products or services.

1. General Terms & Conditions

Throughout these Terms, “Company,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Center for Social Behavior LLC and iGrowCalm.

2. Product Use Disclaimer (iGrowCalm Products)

Product Purpose: iGrowCalm products, including plush toys, sensory tools, breathing aids, calming prompts, emotional learning materials, and accessories are designed to support emotional regulation education, comfort, and parent-guided calming routines. They are intended for general wellness, educational support, and emotional skill-building purposes only. They are NOT medical devices, therapeutic devices, or mental health treatment tools.

No Medical or Clinical Claims: Our products are not intended to diagnose any medical, developmental, behavioral, neurological, or mental health condition; treat anxiety, depression, trauma, autism, ADHD, sensory disorders, or any other condition; replace medical advice or therapeutic intervention; serve as crisis intervention tools; or guarantee emotional regulation outcomes.

Use of our products does not create a therapist-client, physician-patient, psychologist-patient, BCBA-client, or treatment provider relationship.

Adult Supervision Required: Certain iGrowCalm products may contain small parts, batteries, zippers, or internal components. Adult supervision is required, particularly for younger children. Parents and caregivers are responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for their child's developmental level, age, sensory profile, behavioral needs, and safe usage ability. Discontinue use immediately if the product becomes damaged or unsafe.

Product Safety Warning: Products should not be used during sleep unless explicitly stated as sleep-safe; placed over the face or airway; modified, disassembled, or altered; submerged in water unless labeled washable; or used in a way inconsistent with instructions. Battery-operated products should only be handled by adults, must be kept away from children if battery access is exposed, and should use only approved battery types. Improper use may result in injury.

Individual Results Disclaimer: Every child is different. Emotional regulation, sensory responses, and behavior support outcomes vary significantly based on developmental needs, environment, consistency of implementation, caregiver support, external stressors, and individual differences. No guarantees are made regarding outcomes.

Informational Purpose Only: All educational materials provided through iGrowCalm, blog content, digital downloads, parent guides, videos, newsletters, social media content, routines, emotional regulation frameworks, and printable resources are for educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute psychological treatment, ABA therapy, behavioral intervention services, counseling, psychotherapy, medical advice, or educational diagnosis.

Professional Disclaimer: iGrowCalm content may be informed by behavioral science, emotional learning principles, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy concepts, and child development frameworks. However, educational content is generalized and not individualized treatment. Even if created by professionals with behavioral or clinical expertise, content is not a substitute for individualized care.

Emergency Disclaimer: DO NOT use iGrowCalm products or educational materials in emergencies. Community Guidelines: Users agree to communicate respectfully, avoid harassment or bullying, avoid medical misinformation, maintain confidentiality of others, avoid posting harmful, threatening, or unlawful content, and refrain from sharing identifying child information publicly.

Community Disclaimer: Community discussions reflect personal experiences only. Posts by parents or users do not represent professional advice from iGrowCalm. We do not verify accuracy of user-generated content. Use community information at your own discretion.

Moderation Rights: We reserve the right to remove posts, suspend users, restrict access, delete harmful content, and terminate participation without notice.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All iGrowCalm materials are protected intellectual property, including product concepts, product designs, educational frameworks, routines, visual content, illustrations, downloadable materials, website content, videos, branding, logos, trademarks, and product names.

Personal purchase grants a limited, non-transferable license for personal use only. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, resell, create derivative works, reverse engineer products, or use content commercially without prior written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, iGrowCalm and Center for Social Behavior LLC are not liable for injuries resulting from misuse, supervision failures, allergic reactions, battery misuse, choking incidents caused by improper use, emotional or behavioral outcomes, reliance on educational content, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Use is at your own risk. Maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase amount paid.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Center for Social Behavior LLC, iGrowCalm, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims arising from misuse of products, violation of these terms, negligent supervision, improper implementation, misuse of community features, and third-party claims arising from user conduct.

9. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith informal resolution. If unresolved, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Orange County, California, except where prohibited by law.

Users waive participation in class actions where legally permitted. Claims must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
